What Sets Us Apart?

Air-roasted coffee! We believe in tasting the coffee and not the roaster. If you’ve ever had a cup of coffee that tasted bitter or maybe even burnt, there’s a good chance some of those characteristics actually came from the roasting equipment. A common roasting method incorporates blowing hot air into a roast chamber which then tumbles the coffee beans over a hot surface, much like a clothes dryer. With air-roasted coffee, the beans are levitated in a fluidized bed of hot air that keeps the beans moving and scorch-free. We’ve found that this method is far superior in creating a cleaner, more aromatic, and delicious roast.
